David A. Honig is a corporate partner in the Restructuring and Insolvency Group of Winston & Strawn LLP’s San Francisco office. Mr. Honig represents debtors, trustees, creditors’ committees, vendors, institutional lenders and asset-purchasers in bankruptcy and out-of-court restructuring matters throughout the U.S. He has extensive experience in the reorganization of troubled food and beverage, manufacturing, technology, telecommunications, retail and real estate investment concerns, and in the prosecution and defense of related litigation. Mr. Honig frequently advises investors, financiers and managers with respect to technology company restructuring and related intellectual property issues. He graduated magna cum laude from Clark Honors College of the University of Oregon, where he was elected Phi Beta Kappa. After receiving his J.D. from the University of Chicago Law School, he served as law clerk to Hon. Charles L. Levin of the Michigan Supreme Court.
